This weekend was spent drinking too much coffee and biting too many nails because moving a blog? It ain’t easy. Especially when you assign the project of moving the blog to the Bad Moms tech team and wait one freaking second, I am the entire Bad Moms tech team. And as the Bad Moms Club code monkey I wanted to blame the Bad Moms Club project manager for every hiccup that happened (oh and there were many) and as the Bad Mom PM, I wanted to kick the Bad Mom team repeatedly.
In fact I wanted to strangle the code monkey when the site was offline for a stretch of time. Let me tell you being every member of the tech department sucks. No lie: I got into a fight with myself over micro-managing myself this morning.
But the team has synergy again because as you can see The Bad Moms Club is now back online (totally MacGyvered but hey, it’s working). I’m sure there are still a few things that need updating but for now I’m rewarding my team with some Easter cream eggs and surf time. Or at least that’s my excuse for eating this entire bag of eggs and laughing at stuff like this. I don’t know if this is a real ‘Choose your own adventure’ page (remember those? Loved them) but I’d love to hear a child’s response to this particular fork in the road.
Fingers crossed that I don’t wake up tomorrow and that getting back online was only a dream. Just like free will.
