The following baby costume is hands down it the best home-made bear costume ever, in the history of the universe, or at least in my universe because I’d like to have a baby so I could make this costume and that right there? That is insanity talking. I just started to get the occasional full night of sleep thankyouverymuch from the ‘she who needs no sleep just like her father‘ child. There is no way I’m giving those occasional sanity infusions up now.
* Note I only get infusions of sanity on the rare occasion. Trust me, sanity is scarce around these parts.
Anyway. This home made Care Bear costume makes it pretty tempting to try again for another chip of the old super-caffeinated block. And what makes it so special that I would contemplate never getting any sleep ever again?
The fact that you get to gut a Care Bear in the process.
Oh yes you do. You get to eviscerate and completely gut one of those annoying little perky bears who have pretty much some of the most annoying cartoon video cartels out there. Doesn’t that sound cathartic? My daughter loves the Care Bear cartoons *shiver* and their stuff drive me bonkers.

Gutting the actual Care Bear is only step one. Convincing the baby to wear it is the final step and personally, that sounds like the hardest step in the process. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard reading craft instructions before. I’m filing this under awesome.

I am sure there are thousands of stuffed animals quivering in their toy boxes in fear of the day that there insides are eliminated due to parental lack of sleep and their lifeless shells are turned into next years Halloween pageant winners. Love it.
Okay, if I wasn’t too lazy to register I would suggest a few things to the person making this. When gutting a care bear (or any stuffed creature) it might be wise not to line it with red fleece….or maybe thats just me….LOL
Also I am not sure if I love the fangs or hate the fangs, but either way they are cool….LOL
