So, hey! There’s going to be a Bad Moms Club movie! Because, seriously, it was inevitable, right?
Uma Thurman is going to star, and Jennifer Lopez is in talks as well. Avril Poisson, Uma’s publicist, said that Uma is looking to distance herself from her last movie, Motherhood, which performed poorly at the box office. “She hopes that doing a film that is actually funny might help her career,” said Poisson. Jennifer Lopez’s people did not return phone calls, but we did receive an e-mail from someone going by the name ‘Marc Anthony’ that said this: ‘Two words: The Back-Up Plan.”
Judd Apatow is set to direct. “It’s going to be like ‘Superbad meets Fight Club,’” he said, “but with moms, and liquor. Lots of liquor. Also, babies wrestling, and maybe duelling breast pumps.”
I know, right? It’s about time someone made a movie about moms that included lots of liquor and fighter babies and breast pumps.
