Would children enjoy Shakespeare more if it was more Seuss-like? As in, if Dr. Seuss actually wrote a classically Shakespearean play – or, say, rewrote one of the Bard’s originals? I firmly believe that life in general is easier to understand when presented in Seussisms, so, of course: YES.
The ACME Comedy troupe likes to do literary mash-ups and, frankly, Hamlet – rendered Seusstastically – has never been more fun and uplifting. Please to enjoy: Green Eggs & Hamlet [mildly NSFW, you know, if your coworkers hate the dirty words]:
One corpse, two corpse; red corpse, blue corpse; three corpse, four corpse; maybe even more corpse?
AWESOME.
