Oh, hey! We are – Katie and I – in California! Palm Springs! Because California invited us, and when California says COME, you do what California says.
We’ve only been here a few hours, and already we’ve been to the Sonny Bono Concourse, talked to a parrot, and been accosted by a duck. We fully expect to have, before day’s end, an entanglement with the pink flamingos that we saw at the entrance to our resort, which, really, is absolutely the best way to celebrate an arrival in Palm Springs.
