Bad Moms Love Toy Story And Tutus And HAVING FUN FOR A CAUSE

You all know about my nephew, Tanner, right? If you don’t, you can catch up on his story here, but as most of you know probably know, he has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is a terminal condition for which there is no cure, and I sometimes wear tutus (as do many others who support Tanner) to raise awareness of DMD and basically keep everyone’s spirits up because the story is a sad one and we just have fight that. And tutus are good for fighting sad, so.

You know what else is good for fighting sad? Disney. Toy Story. Toy Story On Ice. What’s more smile-getting than Buzz Lightyear on ice skates? Not much. So what happens when you add tutus to Buzz Lightyear on ice skates and wrap it all up with a big bow of awesome? You get Tutus For Tanner Meets Disney’s Toy Story On Ice!

Disney’s Toy Story On Ice is coming to Toronto during March break, and a portion of the proceeds from all regular tickets sold will be donated to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy in Tanner’s name. And? I’ll be introducing the opening show on March 15th. In a tutu, of course.

So you know what would be awesome? If a bunch of you locals could come out and show your support and help us raise money and awareness and basically just work our Fairy God-Dork power! And if some of you wore tutus? ALL THE BETTER. Just remember to use the code TANNER when you purchase your tickets – you can get them HERE – and then fluff out your tutus and get ready to SMILE.
